The Audio Glossary

 

This program presents all the medical words in the course along with their phonetic pronunciations and their definitions. Just click the "Hear" button for the correct pronunciation of the word. 

When the program starts, the following screen will be displayed:

To hear the pronunciation of a word, just highlight the word with your mouse and click the "Hear" button. The box in the upper left-hand corner of the screen will let you choose words from any of the five chapters of the course, or all words in the course. By clicking on the "Find" button on the toolbar at the bottom of the page, you can search for a specific word within the chapter you are viewing.
