We are pleased to announce Version 3 of our Medical Terminology Course on CDROM. Version 3 provides a fully self-contained course in one computer program which includes both the Course Material and Learning Tools.
Because the Course material is now contained in a Computer program, all the exercises and the tests are taken on the computer and are immediately corrected and graded, making workbooks unnecessary and providing you with an  unparalleled ease-of-learning .
Chapter Test results are recorded and  you can review them at any time and print them if desired.

Medical Terminology Flashcard software.

This program helps you practice your Medical Terminology by presenting you with terms or definitions and you supply the answer. The program immediately tells you whether your answer is right or wrong.

The Audio Glossary.

This program presents all the medical words in the course along with their phonetic pronunciations and their definitions. Just click the "Hear" button to listen to the correct pronunciation of the word.
 (Requires a sound card and speakers on your computer.)

 

 

The Component Glossary

The Component Glossary is an exhaustive list of over 1300 prefixes, suffixes and root words (components) used in medical terminology, along with their definitions. Search the glossary by component or by words contained in the definition. You can lookup definitions of components with which you are not familiar or locate a component to represent a particular word.

 

Medical Abbreviation Database (The Bonus)

The Medical Abbreviation Database provides you with a searchable database of over 11,000 Medical Abbreviations and their definitions. The database can be searched be Abbreviation or by Definition.
