STUDY TIME

In this section, Study Time, you will be given a series of medical terms, their pronunciation, and their meanings using the roots, prefixes, and suffixes, given in the chapter. You should practice dividing each term into its component parts, prefix, root(s), suffix, and combining form.

PRONUNCIATION of TERMS

The Pronunciation of Terms let you hear the term pronounced and at the same time see at how & where each of the syllables is accented. The accented syllable is in boldface type. Say each word out loud to yourself or to a friend after hearing our audio version pronounced.

Using the list of Roots/Combining Forms, Prefixes and Suffixes given in this Sample course, look at how the words are ‘built’.
